Habitat 67 – Analysis
As preparation for the comprehensive design studio, an in-depth analysis of Moshe Safdie’s Habitat 67 was conducted to understand how building systems and structure can be holistically integrated into architectural design. The study focused on the project’s modular organization, spatial efficiency, and structural logic, serving as a precedent for the development of my own comprehensive building design. By examining both the innovative aspects and the limitations of Habitat 67, this research provided critical insight that informed a more functional and adaptable approach to unit-based housing.
